Choosing the Right Venue

Venue is another important factor when deciding what an event should look like. I'm a believer that any venue can be transformed to fulfill ones dream but that's if you're loaded with cash and don't mind spending it. If you do mind how much you'll like to spend, here are some factors that should help when choosing a venue. 1. Flexibility of Event Date: Being flexible is a powerful tool. It allows you as the host to put your budget first. Since the budget of the event and the amount allocated to the venue should have be decided. Then you can decide if you want to allocate most of money to the venue and spend less on decor or spend less on the venue and more on decor. To achieve this it is often best to be flexible on the date. The reason why it is important to be flexible on dates is simply because: * You may find a hall that meets your checklist/style but it's not available on your set date and budget * You may find a venue that meets your budget but it's does not meet your checklist/style, and date * You may find a venue that meets your set date and budget but not your style. All of these can be overwhelming. So having a range of dates in mind can be very helpful as oppose to having a set date. Furthermore, this options allows you to decide if you want to spend more on the venue and less on decor or vice versa.
