Decor & Ambiance

Once you've selected the best location for your event, then the next step is the decor and ambiance. This is the time to pay extra attention to the existing decor in and outside the venue. For example a bling themed wedding needs a different type of detail compared to a traditional wedding.

Think about the feeling, mood, and setting you want to feel then incorporate that into your decor. It is very important to stay consistent with the decorative items when trying to create the perfect ambiance. Remember it's all about consistency.

Staying consistent with the theme is very important. Every item should match the theme. Starting from the invitation, to the centerpieces, the dress, the color coordination, the arrangement of the table and chairs, the cake, even the favors.

An upscale event should send out an invitation that represents the level of class. Arrange the tables and chairs accordingly, use linens that correlate with the same theme. An example is a beach themed wedding can be held on a waterfront property with great view. In addition use title details such as sea shells in the decor to bring the feel of the beach to the event even though it's a waterfront property. There are several ways of making sure the decor and ambiance remain consistent.

The idea is to make sure that all the details tie together at every point. Every detail must remind you and your guests of the theme and make everyone feel comfortable at all times.

Remember ensuring the event coordinate accordingly does not mean to over do it. It's all about reminding your guests the feeling you want them to have and do it tastefully in moderation.

Cheers!
